| Product: Free Stuff for Seniors | ||||
| Objective: To introduce author Matthew Lesko's latest book via one-minute and two-minute spots, taking advantage of his reputation as a reliable resource - particularly since this book was aimed at the Senior Market. Lesko had sold other books via TV and public relations appearances for many years - all based on taking advantage of getting things free from government resources. Mathew Lesko has based his business on researching and publishing information about free government resources. This was his latest compilation - aimed at seniors. | ||||
| Production Challenge: We knew it was important to enhance Lesko's proven selling abilities and showcase his personality for the spots to work. For instant credibility, we placed him at a news desk with a "newsman" host/interviewer. We used videotape to create the "live news" feel. | ||||
| We had done a half-hour infomercial with Lesko on one of his other books where he had time to expand his story. The short-form required more discipline. | ||||
| Lesko, working with a script for a change because of the short-form format, maintained his high energy level throughout - using rapid-fire delivery to get out as much information as he could about free government resources. In the edit bay, we used our knowledge and experience to get out a wealth of information in a short amount of time. | ||||
